September 22nd: Cocktail Five Arrows & Carlson VC at Club 39

The first event of the 2022-2023 season took place on Thursday, September 22nd at 6:30 PM at Club 39. It featured Five Arrows Global Technology & Carlson VC, which respectively presented their takes on the current market & the advantages of being a publicly listed VC firm.

Five Arrows Global Technology is a $350m+ fund focused exclusively on Technology in the U.S. with exposure to Europe, Israel & the rest of the world. The fund focuses on investors with proven track records with whom management have access based on deep pre-existing relationships.

Carlson Investments SE, in operation since 2003, is a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and the Stock Exchanges of Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich and on the Gettex platform established to provide access to venture capital investment opportunities in Europe, North America and Asia, with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe. The fund is open-ended and not limited by timeframe and has no need to exit under the pressure of time like standard VCs. The company has more than 30 projects in its portfolio.

The talks were followed by a Q&A. The event took place at Club 39. Canapés were served alongside drinks.
